Claudette Blanchard Berwin was the Broker/Founder/Owner of Gallery Properties in La Jolla for 17 years until she sold her company to Coldwell Banker Realty in 2019. She has been a licensed California Real Estate Agent since 1984 and has had her broker’s license since 1996. In addition to receiving her BA in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, she obtained the prestigious Graduate Realtor Institute designation after several years of study. Continuing her pursuit for professional growth, she recently was granted the Global Luxury Property Specialist designation. This prestigious designation is awarded to an elite group of experienced, talented and seasoned real estate professionals comprising of less than 10% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide. Claudette’s experience is very broad based. She began her real estate career in 1984 as an acquisition specialist for a large apartment syndication firm. She has also specialized in land acquisitions, feasibility studies and extensive due diligence for new construction projects including condominiums, mixed use and apartment buildings. One of Claudette’s greatest achievements was the sale of the very prestigious Brookside Farms West thoroughbred ranch in Bonsall. Her personal philosophy is that every home and piece of property should be treated equally, whether it’s a small condominium or a large estate. Claudette’s husband, William Berwin, is responsible for the development and construction of several projects in La Jolla including “Birdrock Village”, the Tuscan style mixed-use center with Starbucks as the anchor and more recently the development of “Aveline”, 18 luxury townhomes in the heart of La Jolla Village. Together they make a truly dynamic team. He builds them and Claudette markets and sells them to happy new homeowners. Claudette truly enjoys the challenge of helping clients achieve “the American Dream” of home ownership. Claudette has served on the prestigious World renowned La Jolla Concours D’Elegance committee for over 10 years including serving as chairs of the silent auctions, Friday night VIP parties and currently the Saturday Tour D’Elegance to private classic car collections throughout San Diego County.
